The end is near

The end is near, the blog is over and today is the last time that I will write for the English class…. But I hope I keep writing about any situation in my life…

I had never written in a blog ... the experience was great because is very entertaining writing about topics that I had never thought that I were going to write about… In English I had never thought that we could make a blog as a way to exercise. Because I was used to do oral interactions listening test and written tests but having the possibility of writing about my personal experiences, likes and dislikes was original and fun.

Also the experience helped me to improve my English because I had to articulate sentences like never before and I corrected some mistakes that I was used to make.

Expressing ourselves in a different language is very important for our personal development, especially in English because this is the Universal language and if I’m able to talk and write in English I can communicate with people from many other countries in several spheres and discuss about a lot of topics.

We have to consider that in the future as public managers we will have to be able to face conversations with foreign people and handle technical terms that have been usefully introduced in this subject.

I know that I have to keep practicing and improving but I think that I have given a big step because I wasn’t very good in the English subject at school. This could be mainly because I didn’t do much effort. But in this opportunity I liked the topics that we had to talk about so in spite of being difficult and taking me some time to make it good I were willing to do it.

The Football is hope for the world

Waka waka…. the people around all the world this it singing to the pace of this sing…. In this moment the world this of party…. The FIFA world cup South Africa 2010 is taking place and the football world is paralyzed…. We wait that Chile win the world cup
The football is the best way to relax; My favorite football team is Colo – Colo, the best team of chile…. this team has won many cup in Chile and is the only Chilean team that has won “the Copa Libertadores de America”….
In Chile, the football is the more developed activity among many others activities, this is bad, because the football isn´t the only sport that exist, we can find others sports that are developed by many people…. But the football remains the sport for excellency…
The football player that I consider as my idol is Elias Figueroa, for my, the best defender in the football history of the world… I like this player because was the best in his position in all Chile, besides was a great men, also Elias played in others countries as Brazil and Uruguay, and he played in Colo – Colo, my favorite team…. Elias is a gentleman.
Today, the football is a way for help to arise to many people that are immersed in drugs, we can see that there is in the football many people that find the best form for to go out of his problems and to continue forward with his dreams…
The football is hope for build a best world every day….

The Technology

The technology is the best way to represent the progress that humans have had during the course of the whole story ... from early inventions like the wheel, to the most contemporary and digital televisions ...

Nobody can live without technology, I consider that I am a technologic person, but not at all. I like the fact that technological advances have come on the market ...

For now, I bought a cell phone touch this week, which I think is quite modern, was eager to buy a cell phone with these features, is the most modern I have for now, I decided that I needed to buy a lot to my other cell was bad, it was a good investment, but it is indispensable, only I did that I liked ....
Another technological device that we as a family is a LCD TV ....bought it last year to see Chile in World Cup South Africa 2010, is pretty good the image projected ... now just need to Chile won the world cup, so that the purchase was worth it (jajajajajaa).

To conclude the issue, I believe that technological advances can be a good tool to improving the living conditions of all human beings in the world.. That’s why everyone should have access to it....

"Ojos Rojos"

The films are the best way to relax because allow us to discover many relations with our life….

“Ojos rojos” is a film that I liked so much. This films shows as the Chile team´s qualified to the Sudafrica world cup 2010, besides it shows how the players achieved change the way of playing soccer in our country.

I think that this film showed to the superbly how the soccer player changed his way of thinking. This film was created during 4 years. To make this movie, the producers had to travel all over sudamerica following the Chile’s team during all games that they played. Also shows all the work Marcelo Bielsa did.

This film has been a success throughout the country, but there’s already many illegal copies of this film, which is very bad for the Chilean cinema because it’s hard making good films in our country, therefore we must not allow this….

The best of the best

Elias Ricardo Figueroa, known worldwide as “Don Elias”, “Red Wall”, “The Grand Marshal”, was the best player in the history Chilean soccer, born in Valparaiso, in November 25, 1946. His beginning in the soccer was in Santiago Wanderers, team of Valparaiso. Playing of center midfielder, but after some time he started to play as sweeper. Played in Santiago Wanderers, Union la Calera., Peñarol (Uruguay), International of Porto Alegre (Brazil), Palestino and finally he finished his career in Colo-Colo.

Where he played, he was always designated with the best player in his position. He won three years consecutive the award as the best player in America.

He played in the national team of Chile. He was the captain in many occasions and captain of the Chilean squad through their most successive era to date when they qualified for three World Cups, He played in the 1966 FIFA world cup in England, also in the 1974 FIFA world cup in Germany and finally he played in the 1982 FIFA world cup in Spain.

I really admire Elias because he was a good player and he was a good person…

Elias was for me, the best player in his position of all America….

The Earthquake, February 27th, 2010

The night of the earthquake had just returned from my holidays in La Serena, that day I arrived home late at night, so I quickly went to bed, just that night I was alone in the house, my parents were at the beach, and my brother at a party, was sleeping peacefully when suddenly the bed started moving, I’m not usually afraid of earthquakes, so I thought it was one more, but the movement did not stop, and it became harder and harder then I realized there was something more serious, when I went to open the door of the house, the door of the room was jammed and could not leave, so I had to push very hard to be let go, the things were falling, the vessels were on the floor and the furniture was moving too, in the street the women were screaming and the roof sounded loudly. I just wanted to finish soon, that's how I experienced the earthquake on February 27th, 2010.

Hello class. well, in this blogs I hope show more about my person; I am Nicolas Contreras Escandon and I from Chile, specifically of Santiago, in this moment I study Public Administrator in the Universidad de Chile, I wish finish my program because I believe that with this program I can help to my country to rebuild that earthquake that hit us hard....
